hello there this is Daniel from mana,engine analytics plus I'm going to show,you how to install analytics plus and,give you a quick overview of the,application let's get started this is,the analytics plus download page you,enter your information and select the,operating system I'm going to download,the windows version of and Eric's plus,for this video so I'll select Windows,and click download now once our,analytics plus has finished downloading,double click on the downloaded file to,begin the installation you can select,the one click install option for quick,installation choosing this option will,install and rx+ on your C Drive and the,application will be accessible on the,web server port 8 443 if port 8 443 is,already occupied by another application,and that x+ will look for alternate,ports in increments of 10 for example 8,for Phi 3 will be used if 8 443 is,already occupied the chosen port will be,displayed towards the end of the,installation for this video we are going,to select the advanced install option,please read the license agreement,carefully before accepting it on the,screen you can choose the directory,where analytics plus will be installed,click browse to change the default,installation directory once you've,selected your installation directory,click Next to proceed,add the installation they are 300,subdirectories to your antivirus,exclusion list before you proceed here,you can choose the web server port on,which analytics plus will run by default,this is 8 4 4 3 if 8 4 4 3 is being used,by another application enter an,alternate port number and click Next,verify your choices and click Next the,installation process will take a few,minutes to complete,once the application is successfully,installed you can choose to read the,release notes and start analytics plus,after exiting the installation wizard,using these options once you're done,click finish if you have chosen to start,analytics plus the application will,automatically launch in a browser if the,application doesn't launch automatically,you can access it using the URL HTTP,colon forward slash forward slash,localhost colon,a four four three or by replacing,localhost with your respective host name,you might get the security warning when,you open the application for the first,time it's perfectly safe to bypass the,security warning and access the,application you can apply an SSL,certificate to prevent this warning in,the future the default username and,password are admin admin all in,lowercase letters once you log in to the,application enter your email address,this email will be associated with the,admin account analytics plus so be sure,to enter your business email choose your,preferred language and click Next in the,screen you can configure your email,server or skip the step and configure it,later email servers are required for re,new users and triggering notifications,enter the smtp server and the port,number enter the email address from,which all system generated emails should,be

hello there I'm Daniel from magnetics,plus and I'm going to show you how to,create a summary and a pivot view using,this application though you have our 30,visualizations to choose from some,reports baked medicines can seen in,table format both summary and pivot view,addressed his exact need upon first,glance for these views may look similar,but they are different in a lot of ways,that start with the summary view I have,some generic sales data that I will use,to build these reports I will call this,blog space sales analytics I want to see,how much our store has been making every,year the summary report builder has two,sections the group by section and the,summarized section this is where our,fields will go I'll start by dropping,the date field into the group by section,I can group the date by month quarter Y,or any of the options that you see on my,screen the application has automatically,chosen your and this is what I need as,well I'll drop the sales field into the,summary section and see what the report,looks like,and now the profit I think I have the,report I wanted with the sales and the,profit figures from my store but I feel,like this report looks very basic so let,me try and add some more details to it,I'll add the region field to the report,to check the split up of how much each,region made and I add some more columns,to a group by section to add more,granularity,if you notice all the fields that I add,go to the x-axis of the report and,expand the report horizontally this,might work when you have to add only a,few fields but when you have to add more,fields to your report it might start to,become difficult to locate something for,example I want to see how much furniture,was sold in the year 2014 in the western,region alone to do that I have to locate,2014 in the Year column West in the,region column and furniture in the,product category column this could be,much easier in a pivot view let's create,one and see what it looks like I have,three sections in the pivot view builder,columns rows and data I'm going to try,and build the same report here I'll drop,the product category to the column,section date and region to the row,section and sales and profit to the data,section,in this report I have Europe it should,be easy for me to locate the information,I need I just find the furniture column,look for West and the year 2014 and that,is the information and I'm looking for,the pivot view also adds up the numeric,fields automatically you can choose,either of these views for a tabular,report based on the type of information,you have I generally use a summary view,for reports with fewer fields and pivot,view for more complicated reports so,that brings us to the end of this video,please write to analytics plus - support,at manage engine comm if you have any,questions this is Daniel from analytics,plus and thank you for watching

hello there I'm Daniel from analytics,plus creating a chart is one of the,first things that you'll be doing an,analytics Plus this video should help,you get started I'm going to create a,chart using the table request so let's,click that click the create button you,will see options to create different,types of views let's stick to chart view,for this video this is the canvas that,you'll be using to build the chart on,the left you have a list of columns from,the request table I have columns like,request ID responded time mode etc I'll,drag and drop these columns to different,sections on the right hand side to build,my chart I'll explain the options on the,right as and when I build a chart it's,easier that way okay so let's say I want,to see the trend of incoming requests,I'll pick the created time column and,drop it into the x-axis I have a few,options with the date fields as you can,see on this drop-down using these,options I can look at the ticket print,flow trend on a monthly basis a,quarterly basis yearly basis are based,on any of the other options here a,monthly trend is what I am looking for,so I stick with Montaigne now on to the,y-axis I'll drop the request ID column,here I don't really want the sum of,requests IDs but I want a count of,requests IDs per month I'll use the,count option from the drop down I think,I have the basic components to generate,this chart so I'll click this button,click here to generate graph and there,you go I have a chart showing me the,incoming request and the application has,chosen a line graph visualization but I,have the option to choose different,visualizations from this list some of,the options highlight automatically,based on the data that I'm trying to,represent I'll change this to a bar,chart to show you how this works now,let's say I want to add more detail on,to this report say I want to know the,mode through which the requests were,raised I'll drop the mode column in the,color section and you can see how this,changes the chart,each of these colors represent the more,through which the request was raised red,for email green for phone call and blue,for their form,let me also add the request count to,this view and make it easier to read I,have data starting from May 2017 up,until August 2018 I want to filter out,the data and make the graph only display,stats for the last 12 months I'll use,the create a time column in the filter,section change the date field to,relative column choose month took for,last 12 months range doesn't look like I,have that readily available so I will,just add a new range and save that,configuration,if I wish to let users apply more,filters when they view this report I can,drop columns to the user filter section,these user filters can be any columns,that I have on the request table for,example I'll just drop the side column,here so the users can filter the data,based on the location where the request,came from it looks like I have what I,need,let's save it and give it a name I'm,going
