in this step,you will write a google ad for your,product,in this example i'm writing an ad for a,vitamin d3 product,initially i can see that there's three,places to put a headline,i'll need to put at least three,headlines,but i can put in more if i choose,if i need help i can see headline,suggestions,right here,the first suggestion you'll see is,adding google keywords,since your customers are searching,keywords on google,putting keywords into the heading is an,ideal way to get your customers to click,on your ad,i'll add vitamin d3 2000,my goal is to add keywords that have the,highest potential to resonate with the,end user,that are human readable,finally i'll add suggestions for the,amazon product,meaning specific features that highlight,this product,such as prime eligibility free shipping,with,amazon prime and coupon available,you'll notice that these were added in,the second,third fourth and fifth slot,but in the first slot i'll show the,product name,so this is going to be called vita d3,2000 iu,notice that my ad is being built right,here,so you can see the exact ad that is,going to be shown to your customers,finally you'll describe the features and,benefits of this product,i'll type in vitamin,d3 supplement,for a healthy lifestyle,on the next line you'll put specific,benefits,and call to actions best price,and quality,see our wide selection,of vitamins,so at this point i've created my ad,i can now see this ad as customers are,going to see it,notice that this ad text is changing,our technology with google is smart,enough to place the best ad,in front of your customers to guarantee,the highest,number of clicks

to start,sign up for attribution,amazon attribution is a way for amazon,to measure,how many sales you're getting from,google ads,on this screen it says enter url or asen,amazon attribution will create a special,url for you,that will have tracking parameters that,will track your sales,going to amazon so if you don't have,amazon attribution you can go to,advertising dot amazon.com,slash solutions slash products slash,amazon dash attribution and you'll click,to get started,and you're most likely going to be a,seller so,you'll select a marketplace to register,this is the market you're selling into,either north america or europe once you,click this,you'll log into amazon and amazon will,send you an email,notification as soon as you accept that,email verification,you are now ready to use amazon,attribution,as soon as you're signed in for amazon,attribution,you'll see a screen like this and you,can create a new order,from this screen i can select creation,method,manual and then i'll pick a product or,feature on google ads,type in your product here,and select it from the list down menu,verify the product is correct and then,click the product to add,i will just name this so it will be the,name of my product,plus the asin,so i will name the product and i will,add the a sin to the name,good naming is important so i can come,back and,identify the product at any time,and finally i'll create it look to the,bottom right of the screen,and you will see continue to line items,once you click that button you will be,brought to a new screen,at this screen you can click on that,line item you just created,now you will name the line item in my,case,i'll name it vitamin d3,and i'll select google ads from the drop,down,go back to your other tab that has your,product listing,and copy the url for the products,listing and,i'm going to put that in the last text,box,the final step is created,after you create the line item you'll,notice a new url,is generated this new url,has a few additional parameters these,parameters,identify your product and track your,sales from,google ads now you'll go back to the,amped product,and you'll put this in your url,once it is copied in verify that the new,url has the additional parameters,from the other screen and that it is,showing a picture of the product you're,advertising,after you're done here you'll click next,to go to the next step

hey everyone i'm victor dwyer on today,on the sheet we are going to review,amped a way to send google ads to amazon,let's dive right into it,so i'm going to minimize myself and,let's dive right into what amped really,is so on the sheet you'll be able to,find under the amazon sellers,tools here and then from google ads to,amazon this is what amped is,basically what you can do is you can,take google ad campaigns and on the,keyword level you can get conversion,data which is very hard to do,pre-existingly meaning that before you,were able to set up google ads and send,them to amazon but it was very hard to,figure out what keywords were working,that's what amp fixes,so,on a holistic view amp is very good at,basically setting up,and creating attribution links on a,keyword level and on a keyword level,basis and making it where you can set up,campaigns very easily and know which,keywords are working within your google,campaigns so it's very cool and you get,a 10 referral bonus,that amazon will give back to you,meaning that amazon on seller central,usually takes a 15 referral fee but when,you send them through the attribution,link which is what amp provides they you,only pay them five percent,and they'll give you back that 10,percent so it's pretty cool on that side,and then,some pros and cons so i gave this as um,ranking of a seven here's why,so what's really cool is they give you,keyword level conversion insights so,you'll be able to go here and see like,okay i have these keywords right here,and they are performing really well and,you can know what keywords are working,which before you used to not be able to,do this if you did it was very difficult,to set up but amp makes it very fast and,very easy to see what keywords are,working which is really cool,and then um also has ranking systems,built in,amazon's algorithm has has been heavily,weighting google traffic and which means,it really likes it and will rank you,higher in the search results and you can,easily set up what keywords you want to,rank for organically through amped so,it's a pretty pretty cool,insight so i would highly recommend,using this,for organic ranking,and then the cost per clicks are usually,50 lower meaning that on the average,cost per click right now on amazon for,most clients is about one dollar and,fifty cents right now,and usually it's about half of that so,like usually google will be around 75,cents depending depends on your there's,a lot of factors in that but it's,usually about half most of the time,here are some cons the data does not,feed into google adwords it requires,mainly importing your data let me,explain that so right now the google,algorithm works if you were setting up a,normal,conversion campaign to your website,basically you would say you would,basically send that data back to google,and say hey,this this keyword has a purchase i need,you to increase the spend behind that,keyword that is done automatically you,don't have to think about anything but,that is how it'

if your campaign ad is generating clicks,but you are not seeing revenue then it,is most likely a case with converting,customers,on your site let's review a live example,of a good converting site,and go through a simple checklist of,things you can do to improve your site,to start converting customers and making,sales,from the beginning encourage customers,to make a purchase,by giving a discount in the following,example,you can see that there's a 10 percent,off if you put in your email,we've seen across our customers that,this is a great way,to instantly get their email and also,give the discount,to improve the conversion on site,also notice there's free shipping on all,orders,over ninety nine dollars we've also seen,this,to be a very good strategy to be able to,generate,more sales,also make sure that customers can see,your best images of your products,and also with multiple versions of your,product,notice here that there's live models,with the actual product,and it's very easy to see the products,on the individual people,furthermore when you actually go into,the products,it's really important to be able to,understand what the product is,and all of the attributes of the product,so in this case what you'll look for is,size,description weight color and,any other information that's important,so notice here we describe the material,the size the fit and,also a brief description of higher level,of what the product is,and its unique value known as the unique,value here,is asymmetric off shoulder ribbed,cashmere sweater,make sure that your pictures are really,inclusive,of what you're showing as your product,notice here that the customer has six,different images of the product,this gives your customers the ability to,really understand what they're going to,buy,right on your site and will thus,increase conversions,finally at this point it's really,important to understand if your price is,competitive,if i go to google and i search for,cashmere sweaters,then as i look down here to the right,it's really important for me to,understand what the price is,for cashmere sweaters,notice that in this case under 100,is essentially the price to be targeting,and the cheapest price we're looking at,is banana republic,for 77,the goal here is you can still have a,high quality product,but just really understand that your,customers are price shopping,so it's really important to be able to,have a competitive price,when customers are searching for your,type of product

if you are running a google smart,shopping ad,then i'm going to show you the best way,you can optimize it,go to ads.google.com look for,shopping campaigns,and then you click on audiences,what we are going to do here is we are,going to tell,google to only advertise to audiences of,customers that are the most likely to,buy your products,if you click on that pencil selecting,that group,select your campaign and then an ad,group,then what you can do here is select all,the categories that google is suggesting,and essentially what you can do here is,you can check,all the different categories and the,secret here is that you want to check,categories where it's resonating with,audiences,or customers that are the most likely to,buy your products,once you select and go through this,category list then,you can simply click on add and then,save,and now you're telling google to only,advertise to those audiences,the next optimization is looking at add,schedule,we all know that your customers shop at,certain times of the day,and what we're going to do here is we're,only going to pay for clicks,in the times where customers are most,likely to buy your products,by default google sets all days,and advertises 24 hours a day,but notice you can do this drop down,here and select monday through fridays,you can pick certain days of the week or,you can just do weekends,and then change the times so that way,you are only advertising and paying for,clicks when you have the highest,probability of customers purchasing from,your store,next let's look at google's,recommendations,in this case what you'll see here is,keywords and targeting,so another powerful feature of smart,shopping is that you can,upload your customers information such,as email,and phone numbers to advertise to,similar customers,what this is doing is reaching your,potential customers,where either they're checking gmail or,they're on youtube,it's using a degree of machine learning,to find new potential customers,that essentially look like your existing,customers,to get started you will upload a list of,your customers emails and phone numbers,to google,so at this point we've done a lot of the,optimizations here,but the last thing you can do here is,you can change your budget,so if you're almost exceeding your,budget or,running out of budget throughout the day,then you can click on this icon here,and just edit this budget so,in this case if we have 100,and we are running out of budget,throughout the day then,what we can do here is up this to 150,so this way we're able to serve more,customers throughout the day,and get more visitors and sales

hey this is stephen pope i'm joined here,with joshua from amped and there's just,a really incredible thing that amp did,for the amazon community and i really,want to give him a shout out so i'm,talking to josh today so,tell me how you guys helped lobby amazon,to make it so that when you run google,ads to amazon,that they don't show those freaking,competitor ads when they land on the,amazon page absolutely yeah so we didn't,get rid of all of them but we got rid of,the key one which is right at the top,that competitive ad widget um,rewind this tape uh back in january uh,the data science part of my team noticed,a a big discrepancy between conversion,on desktop and mobile,um and obviously mobile you're gonna,have better click-throughs people pick,up their phone but conversion when,you're on a desktop your shop you're,shopping you're ready to go buy we,thought that for sure should be at least,the same if not higher but it was the,inverse and we dug in and said why is,that happening so we quickly found this,competitive ad widget only being showed,from people that coming from google,properties so think email search ads and,then they land and they see your top,three competitors at the top so,we have our weekly stand-ups with uh,google's engineering team on attribution,and we said,hey amazon i'm sorry with the amazon,attribution team uh and he said hey,amazon,you're telling you're growing your,engineering team you're having this go,global on attribution and yet you're,going to have customers,land on,your seller customers land on the page,and arbitrage against them with all of,admin i get your google your amazon ads,as a profit center but um actually,and and when you talk about the,arbitrage you're mentioning how,how how uncool is it if i spend a dollar,a click on google and then i send,somebody to amazon,and at the very top of that banner,you see them,referencing a competitor like would you,spend your money joshua on google ads if,that was happening no i'd be i well i,mean you,you would but it would just be like you,just don't feel good about it dude,that's right yeah and so the thing that,was hard for us is is we also have,hundreds of customers thousands of,customers that are depending on sending,traffic that is going to convert well,and that's the promise from amazon,obviously that's a promise from amped as,well so we uncovered this and we said,hey um amazon we need to change this,amazon's all about the best customer,experience which is why they're,supposedly giving those customer um,advertisements um but we said hey i,think it's a better customer experience,when they're getting the right product,they're getting met with the right,product right when they felt need they,have that pain and they're coming over,to land and they're probably gonna buy,other other products as well so amazon,said okay after about a month of,lobbying for four four weeks of every,meeting that we'd have with them in our,stand up they said we're gonna do a test,so they did a test u
