hey everyone welcome to this video today,i'm going to show you version 2 of the,rep archive shipping calculator and,asian comparison i've been working on,this for quite a while and lots of,features have come together in this,release so uh watch the whole video and,see everything that's new let's get the,most obvious thing out of the way first,it still looks rather similar similar,why is it version two a because of,semantic versioning it's not,compatible to version one of the api,anymore,um and actually you're gonna see that,lots changed once we entered something,in and,once we talked about it i think it's,gonna become clear that this deserves to,be a major version release most obvious,is that we are more tags um that's just,so it gets found better by search,engines describes all the features and,what's new and since there's so many new,features the text has,just gotten longer,um so let's get the old version out of,the way and,let's look into it um i'm gonna go over,almost all the new features here well,what i'm not gonna go over is like,little bug fixes scaling,improvements and stuff like that true,price technology we're gonna talk about,that in a second let's just start by,entering something i'm going to,go to germany and before i click submit,you just saw me using the shoebox preset,that's a new preset,i'm going to release a tick tock where,i'll show you how i measure shoebox just,so you can verify these numbers that's,pretty cool because our shoes in general,are still the most chipped,or most popular kind of item,or at least one of the most popular,items many people ship them and few,people know exactly how big they are i,wouldn't have guessed these measurements,or of course you could have measured,that yourself at home from shoebox but,that's just super convenient and,yeah i'm glad i had this idea i think,it's gonna get lots of use um the next,thing that changed is as you can see in,the old version just didn't have an info,icon all the information was in here and,was kind of,full um now,here you have general information and,here next to the presets you can read,what's included in the presets this has,been cleaned up um,and this will continuously get improved,i want to have as uh,as much public contribution to this as,possible so everyone knows it's fair,um yeah anyways let's,start the search,by the way this is,um,version two of the api,that's uh working right now not,compatible with the old one but we're,still working together with rap ninja i,just did lots of improvements and added,extra information that you're gonna see,in use here um but it's still not slower,than before it's exactly as,quick as before the new enhancement cost,a little bit of processing time but it's,not even a fraction of a second and on,the other hand i did a few improvements,so the old version has three different,uh feature options filter agents sort by,and hide restricted lines now we have,one two three four five six,so twice as many in this new version and,they are su

hey guys welcome to waste out Wednesday,we go live every Wednesday at 10 A.M,mountain time and we take junk that we,get for free or next to free and turn it,into home decor that we sell on our,website jamiewayvintage.com or in our,shop in Lehigh and today the theme of,the day is um paint some stuff pretty to,bring in some color I don't know if you,guys can even see that you see this,split here this has been sitting outside,the weather got it it snowed on it,um when it was fall it was fine it,wasn't really raining or doing anything,and now the snow has cracked this top so,we're going to repair that so this we,paid I think like four dollars for at,the thrift store this was actually free,um my friend Joanne AC left it on our,porch with a bunch of other stuff at the,shop and it's been in the shop like this,needing a freshening up and I used queen,bee last night for a project and thought,you know what I should use this color,more so I'm going to paint this in Queen,B there you can see that split right,here a little better,Maybe,anyway just know that the top is cracked,in half and this happens quite,frequently to these chairs because this,uh this is just laminated together so,zab's gonna fix that that I'm going to,get a code on this and once he gets that,fixed we actually have another chair,that's not cracked that we might get to,painting it's still got snow on it it's,not snow on it yeah all right so I like,to flip things upside down and paint the,underside first,just makes life easier and then I've got,one of our big French grain sack,stencils I think it's gonna be cute on,top,all right so what I'm doing over here I,just have this is just common Pine scrap,piece of wood needed it to fit right,here next to this piece and I'm going to,drill six holes in it three on each side,and then I'll clamp glue and clamp it,and then once that's glued and clamped,then we'll screw this down onto it and,it should be good as new,as soon as I get the paint on this I'm,going to show you a few projects that we,finished up,um and I will later today have a short,video up with all of our Thrift flips,for the week so watch for that,um we did do you guys remember the B,uh 10 that we had I did paint that and I,used queen bee on it and it turned out,super cute,I look very Glam today,I put on a lot of makeup she's got her,floral t-shirt on all right so this is a,counter sink bit and it's just got a,drill in the center just regular like,probably eighth inch and then it's got,this Cutting Edge that's going to drill,a nice little flat spot for the head of,the screw so it can sit down flush and,then this I just use this as like a this,is just a 4x4 and some two by sixes that,I made the right height for my miter saw,table but it also works really good for,drilling down in without creating a lot,of holes and all the stuff you don't,want holes in,like the countertop yeah please don't do,that,this countertop is not replaceable,it is not it is old Rafters out of this,house,but this will

everyone so we've decided to make this a,two-part video because it's quite,lengthy and we didn't want y'all to sit,through the whole thing,very torturously so this first part,we're going to be talking about the,three different type weights,that you can use for your shipping,methods and all uh and then in the,second part we'll share how to use,different tools to get estimated cost of,your shipping,and so on and so forth so yeah hope this,helps,hi everyone so welcome back to our,channel and today uh you know we're,gonna talk about thai now shipping how,does the,um,shipping cost work out and then why,people use tpf and what's the difference,so if you have not watched our previous,video that we did very very very long,ago about time now shipping matters i,highly recommend that you watch it,especially if you are not familiar uh or,maybe you want a refresher because um i,will be going through that in this video,and i'll really just be diving in about,how shipping cost is calculated,so in our previous video just for short,summary we talked about what is time now,what do they do the types of shipping,methods so direct shipping as well as a,consolidated shipping method uh and then,basically what's the difference between,c and air shipping so please go watch,that before you start this video,we'll just get right into it for those,of us who are familiar so basically i,think the most common question that,everyone gets right is,um oh how do you calculate shipping,costs how to estimate a cost,honestly it's very hard to estimate and,here's a few reasons why so,basically there are three main methods,of calculating your shipping cost one is,your actual weight of your product one,is a volumetric weight and then thirdly,is by just your puzzles volume okay so,let's say i'm buying this bottle so this,bottle has,two kinds of weight that can be tacked,to it so one is it's actual weight so,let's say this bottle weighs like 500,grams so that's 0.5 kg right um but,there's also a volumetric weight which,takes the,packaging of the,the bottle that comes in so,the calculation for volumetric weight,right,is,the,length times breath times height divided,by 6000 so that is the volumetric weight,i i actually do not know why divide by,6000 but that's just how it is last so,um,for example if let's say,this,is,0.5 kg,and let's say like it was packaged in,this box right uh then we will come,there's a calculator that you can use,i'll put the link in the description so,it's just the length the breadth and the,height divided by 6000 so let's say,in total maybe the the volumetric weight,of this is 3 kg,so,what,um what thai nail does right if you were,to ship it by air specifically air only,they will take whichever is higher so,this is 0.5 kg this is 3 kg so they'll,make you pay 3 kg for your shipping,which sometimes is very ridiculous,because maybe you think you are,the shipping will be very cheap and then,you expect to pay like oh water water,how expensive can it be right right then,you p

5 How to set up and apply shipping costs

in this video we're going to show you,how to apply shipping costs to your,listings there are three different ways,of doing this,option one is the simplest way which is,to add a set shipping cost to each of,your product listings this is ideal for,all stores with one fixed shipping,option where you don't want to provide,additional shipping options at checkout,option two is to create preset shipping,methods and rate areas which provide,additional delivery options for your,customers to choose from at checkout and,the ability to create country-specific,shipping costs,option three is to connect your seller,account to an external shipping agent,account UK Marketplace currently offers,integrated shipping with both FedEx ups,and DHL with more options on the way,for the purpose of this video we're,going to focus on both options 1 and 2.,so first you're going to log into your,account and complete the fields with,your email and password click on vendor,panel in the bottom left of your screen,and this will take you to your dashboard,click on products in the side panel then,again select products from the drop down,menu select any one of your products,from your listings and you will be,presented with a series of tabs as shown,then go ahead and select shipping,properties,two options are available ticking the,free shipping box will apply zero,shipping charges to your listing and a,free shipping label will be added to,your main listing image as shown in this,example should buyers filter their,searches to free shipping then your item,will appear in that search,you can check your individual listings,as shown here you can see in the product,description that your item is displayed,with a shipping cost of zero,alternatively if you have a fixed,shipping cost for that product,regardless of where it is sent then you,can add that amount in the field titled,shipping Freight a fixed shipping price,would then be applied to that product,and will be visible to your buyer at,checkout,if you're shipping within the UK only,and don't require the ability to,increase costs for overseas shipping,then this option will most likely work,fine for you the main downsides of,having just one fixed shipping fee is,that one the same shipping cost will be,applied to all destinations and,countries equally even though you're,likely to incur increased charges for,shipping into Europe or further afield,two you will be limited to only one,method of delivery without the option to,offer Alternatives such as priority next,day delivery for an additional premium,if you're operating a business that,ships to multiple territories outside,the UK and you wish to offer your,customers the choice of shipping options,at checkout such as standard or express,delivery then we recommend that you set,up manual shipping methods by rate area,alternatively you might want to consider,real-time automatic shipping by,connecting your UK Marketplace account,to your preferred shipping provider,we're now going to show you how to
