How to Use Advanced Product Descriptions Shopify APP HQ

um so i'm going to show you how to use,this new app um the advanced,uh what you have in your apps and you,have this new,advanced product description so you'll,click on that guy we're going to go,ahead and use uh bazel this one here as,our example so if you see the product,pages now they're actually showing this,stuff this is my code from before,okay,and then this below down here is the new,uh code for the tab so it by default,we'll start showing um the descriptions,on these pages because the way we have,it and then once you're done and,everything done i can i can actually,remove and hide this and so i'll i'll go,ahead and fix this so that if you have,um,uh,the the tabs not done it won't show this,yet but if you start adding information,it will start showing them down here,um,so i'll fix that for you but anyway i'm,gonna show you how this works so i'm,gonna use a basil,tulsi holly right so what i go do is um,there's a couple things one is this,right here is going to be the short,description,um,if you want this to show you still have,to do it the old way where you scroll,the bottom here and then you use short,description and put in your html i'm,sorry but that app doesn't allow us to,to edit that right so you'll be editing,one field for the short description for,the top right hand side here okay and,it's pretty simple,um not too too crazy on that,so the next thing we're going to do is,we're going to go ahead and add some new,tabs we're going to add these tabs here,benefits directions test report articles,and recipes right so we're going to add,them and they're going to show up down,here so now i'm going to do is i'm going,to go into,this,and it has its own little video and you,can watch that and we can select that,and never show again once you're done,watching it the app is enabled it's,using fonts from this system um if you,look at this,don't select accordion because if you,select accordion what'll happen is the,uh the tabs will turn into accordions,and that's bad for seo so we want to,stick with the switcher okay and i have,it selected as tabs and then i have the,tab border color you could change that,whatever color you want you can mess,around with that and this is global okay,uh tabs inactive color etc so that's for,the color that's actually going to be on,the tabs that are showing and i have it,on one of the other products,for bergamot so let me see if i got that,one,yeah so here's one,bergamot,so this is one that i did before,so let's show you this,and if you notice here's my tabs and,then here's the new ones,see,so they're all they're a little,different,okay i made it so the headers are going,to be,green,up here recipes we love and i'll show,you how this works so let me go ahead,and close that one all right so,we're going to go ahead and click on you,have products and so you can go and find,um one of your products in here and,start using it um if you look at this,right here it says descriptions this,will actually give you the products that,w

hi and welcome to another episode of,piece made TV in today's video we're,going to be jumping into WooCommerce and,taking a look at how we can create more,complicated multi variation products now,in the previous video we take a look at,setting up variations we looked at,creating one simple variation for a,product however that's not always,relevant so say for example you've got a,product you want to have size and color,and there are only certain iterations or,combinations of that available well we,can do that inside WooCommerce pretty,straightforward and easy so in this,video I'm going to take you step by step,through the entire process of how to set,up all those different variations and,apply them to products so let's just,jump into WooCommerce and take a look,so jumped over into my wordpress,dashboard and we're ready to start set,up these attributes so the first thing,we need to do is create the attribute,and the attribute groups to make sure we,got everything in place before we apply,that to a product to do that pretty,straightforward all we do is just jump,over to products and we come down to,attributes so the first thing we've done,is we've got color already said I've,been here from the previous video so we,now need to put in something to do with,the sizes so the first thing we're going,to do is give this a name so this is our,first attribute group that we're going,to create we say size click Add,attribute you can see that that adds it,into the list of attributes we've got,final thing we need to do is configure,the terms that are associated with that,particular attribute group so if we go,and click on configure terms we can go,through now and just add in some sizes,so let's just do your normal small,medium large and extra large so small,medium and Excel so there's our size is,ready so we've done what we need to do,if you want to add more attributes in,here you can easily do that or if you,want to create more attribute groups you,can do that depending upon the product,you seven so now we've done that let's,go and find a product we can start,applying these different attribute,groups to it,so let's come back to all products and,we're gonna use this patient ninja as an,example so let's just come in and edit,that product so we need to do a couple,of things at the moment it's set as a,simple product we need to change that to,allow us to create the variation groups,that we want so we need to do is click,on simple products come down to variable,product and you can see now that opens,up some additional options on the left,hand side what we've got is attributes,and variations now before we can apply,any variations we have to tell,WooCommerce what attributes we want to,assign to this particular product so,let's just come in and add in another it,so we go to add custom attributes to a,click on there and you can see we've got,color and size so these the attribute,groups we've already created so let's,add size in first of all that we'll,leave that as is an

How To Add Extra Options To Your Products On WooCommerce | Pizza Toppings

what's up guys in this video i'm going,to be showing you how to add product,options to your products on woocommerce,now for example we're going to be,creating this pizza product here,and you're going to be able to add,options like your sizing,which will adjust um your price here,and then we can add toppings which is,probably one of the most important parts,because i feel like i feel like i've,been trying to figure this out and i,finally found a plug-in that actually,allows you guys to do this,so you can you guys can check box any of,these and it will adjust your price,accordingly,you can even add notes and a bunch of,other options to your product as well,and i feel like this is really going to,help you out for those that are trying,to create a restaurant,um website or are trying to make a,website for your meal prep,company now if you guys want to learn,how to do this,go ahead and stick around so let's begin,now the first thing that we need to do,is download a plugin,so head over to your plugins and click,on add new,and then go ahead and type in product,options,and we're going to want to install and,activate this plug-in here called simple,product options for woocommerce,and then click activate,now head over to your products,now i've already created my product as,you can tell i have a product,called pizza so i'm going to go ahead,and click edit,so make sure you create your product,and then now we're going to have an,option here that says custom options,so go ahead and click on that and this,is where we're going to be able to add,our,product options so for instance since,this is a pizza,we're going to be adding toppings and,size and all that sort of stuff that we,need for this product,so now from here we're going to go ahead,and click on add options,and then i'm going to go ahead and,choose size,and then i'm going to do a drop down and,i'm going to do i'm going to do small,just going to go first now small i'm,gonna leave it at zero because small is,just gonna be my default price which is,six dollars,and then medium i'm gonna go ahead and,add one dollar to the medium,and then my large i'm gonna add two,dollars,to my large pizza,and then i'm gonna click update,and then i'm gonna show you guys how,this looks there we go as you can tell,small will stay at my same price,medium will the price will get adjusted,so that's why,i prefer doing this method because it,just shows one price and i'm sure,whoever's ordering on your website just,wants to see one price not multiple,prices that would probably be pretty,confusing,so anyway let me go back to custom,options,and then the next option i'm going to,add is my toppings,and i'm going to use a um check box,because they're going to be,they're going to be uh adding probably,multiple um toppings,and then i'm just going to go in here,and i'm going to add my uh,my list of toppings here so i'm going to,have pepperoni i'm gonna do one dollar,for pepperoni,and then i'm just gonna choose a couple,of these here so onions
