hey how's it going beautiful people i'm,going to show you exactly,how to delete a facebook ad account not,deactivate but delete,okay if you look at my facebook ad,account where i have,multiple ad account and if you're like,me and you have for example,up to 25 ad accounts then you know that,you cannot,add another ad account or if you,just want to get rid of facebook you,want to close all,out account you want to delete it there,is a difference between deactivating and,deleting this,this is an account that i closed about,two months ago but it's still,in my list of ad account it has not,disappeared,and so i am going to show you how to,delete an ad account how do you do it i,don't want to waste your time,when you're logging in your facebook,business setting okay if i hide that,when you,when you deactivate an ad account by,just clicking here,the account will not go away it will,just be hidden as you,as you see here hide close ad account if,i,unactivate that the closed ad account,will still appear here,when you reach 25 ad account you cannot,create another one,how you do delete one you have to open,your facebook,business manager first how do you open,that you go on,business.facebook.com and then,here you will it will open your business,manager,in my case i have multiple business,managers and within a business manager i,might have,multiple ad accounts as you see here,within this business manager i have four,if i want to delete an ad account within,this one,i will have to delete the whole business,manager,there is no way again i will repeat this,you cannot,delete a single facebook ad,account you will have to delete the,whole business manager,and if you only have one ad account,like this one in the business manager,then it won't matter because you're,trying to delete the ad account,so you will have to open the ad account,suppose this one is the one that i want,to delete,you have to open your ad account you go,up here on business tool,and you go on business settings maybe,your layout will be different than mine,but this is how you do it,if you come here under add account this,is a closed ad account,and how do you delete that this account,is disable or,inactive but it's not deleted so how do,you delete it you scroll down at the,bottom you click on business info,and you click here on permanently delete,business if you delete the because every,business has an ad account,an ad manager and ads within the ads,manager,so if you delete the business manager,you will delete,everything you will not have access to,it anymore i'm going to click on,permanently delete business manager,once you delete the business manager,this action can be reversed to,help us improve please tell us why you,want to delete the business,it's hard to use whatever you select,your,options i'm just going to say it's hard,to use or maybe,i don't like your facebook something,like that anyway i click on next,schedule business for deletion once you,schedule a free for deletion it cannot,be accessed,all pages listen all pages,ad account and tools added will be,returned to the original,owner or be deleted imagine for example,that,i assigned so if in this account for,example i have assigned this,account to someone else then,if i delete that business account that,business manager you will be returned to,the original owner which is this,business manager so if i click on next,this is what will happen i'll have to,put my facebook password,you see now it says afro talent,whatever will be permanently deleted in,24 hours,if you change your mind go to business,manager and choose,don't delete business done you see now,it is still here in my list of business,accounts,so if in 24 hours it will disappear with,the ad account inside and then there is,zero page that i created here,if you have a page that have that you,have created and that you want,to keep you can you can assign that page,to someone else or to another business,account or to another person outside,your facebook so if i if i want to,cancel the deletion i just click on it,and i say,don't delete business it will be deleted,now in 23 hours so be careful,if you want to delete your facebook ad,account you'll have to delete your,facebook,business manager if you have multiple,ad accounts within the business manager,then you cannot delete a single one,if you delete the whole business manager,understand that it will delete,all ad accounts within it and not only,you will lose,all the ad accounts and all the pages,associated with this ad account,but you will also lose the pixels,that has all the information now if you,don't want to delete your whole facebook,business manager what you can do,and if you if you want to create more ad,account but,you have already reached the maximum,then you can create,multiple business managers touch just,like you see here and to do that you go,on,business dot facebook.com,over view now you can create another,business manager when you create another,business manager,that will allow you you can create as,many business managers as you can as you,see here i already have 13,that will allow you now to have another,business manager you just open that one,and what you want to do is that you want,to transfer,some of this asset from the business,manager that you want to delete,to the new one that you created after,transferring what,this tool,allows me to do is actually to find,interests that are hidden on facebook,because facebook wants you to spend,more money on their platforms and what,they push you to do,is when you're trying to create a,facebook ad,on the interest part here when you,search for things like,fitness that have 798,million people that are interested this,is what facebook suggests you 58 million,48 million,the reason why facebook suggested that,is because they want you to advertise on,those keywords that are already,highly competitive and therefore your,click per cost will go,up and you will spend more money but in,fact they are actually,hidden keyword or interest that people,have shown,interest for that facebook is not,showing you for example,with this connect explorer i am able if,i type for example fitness,or gym i am,able to find 290,results with keywords that have,a very specific lower address not in the,million but in the hundreds of thousands,that almost nobody target but they exist,in facebook but facebook never shows you,that,let me show you an example if i take for,example body feed,this interest exists in facebook and it,actually has,806 000 people interested,but if i go on my facebook ad,set and i'm trying to target that,keyword i type,body fit no result is fine,there is no result it does not exist but,i actually we disconnect,explore i am able to simply add,that in my facebook ad set,and actually because the competition is,low here,because no not a lot of people have this,tool,and the fact that i will target a lot of,this keyword with actually,low competition that will drive my click,per cost down the number one thing that,drives you click per cost,for like eight dollars per click five,dollars per click,three dollars per click is because like,i said facebook will just suggest you,those interests when you type them that,are in the millions,okay it will never suggest you anything,that is about,like 373 000 never,but this tool allows you to so the day has come it's actually,happened one of my facebook ad accounts,has been hacked this is not some click,Beatty title,someone has schemed their way into my ad,account ads themselves as an admin they,disrupt a bunch of stuff and they tried,to spend fifty thousand dollars of my,money and I'm not panicking when his,wife Erin just paused that one and then,they um paused it made it active again,twenty-five thousand oh yeah you should,let that little where like because it,we've got getting there quick then and,if you unpause that they paused it,they're probably gonna try and take,everyone out the account if you um pause,they imposed it and then BOOM try to go,to a link up as azam cuz but they've,already managed to spend $600 see that,that one's gonna new when they see that,YouTube ads workshop that one that's,just popped up but 8000 also they've,tried to like they've tried to like bad,dude this is happening all over there oh,yeah and these these three weird people,Hey hey Jim hey Jim mance is so weird I,don't really understand why I am you,should have access,yeah I'm got it yeah and why they,wouldn't remove me of it when we're,getting there Atika status,oh hang on I will say but another error,I'm not really sure do,you have to have a verification on your,on your Facebook,no but I will now so for any of you that,are running Facebook ads online to grow,your business one of the most worrying,things is not even that you would ever,get hacked it's the ads get disapproved,or your account will get taken down like,like one of those things they're kind of,like sub level problems you can,reinstate an account or you could open a,new one getting an account hacked that's,like a serious deal and I literally,logged in to my Facebook account,yesterday and we managed to catch this,just in time,I couldn't log into my facebook account,he was asking for my password again it,said that there were some issues and I,needed to reset a password and go,through some security questions so,already I'm thinking something's up then,I get a message from someone on my team,who got a notification on their phone,that someone had tried to set up a,Facebook ad inside of our business,manager account for something crazy like,a few thousand dollars and that,obviously set off a bunch of red flags,so essentially this started a two hour,back and forward with myself my team my,partners were jumping in there trying to,figure out what is going on and I'll,share a little bit about the story with,you right now and maybe some lessons,that you learn from this but there's one,big lesson that want to leave you with,at the very end of this which is the,very reason why I'm not really panicking,about this and why it's not really that,much of a problem so so here's what,happened so after I get this message,from someone on my team and and we're,getting these notifications I log in and,just have a look look around our ad,account now inside of our business,manager we do have a number of different,and accounts luckily we're just coming,off the Christmas period and going into,the new year where for us with our model,we actually stopped all of our ads so,luckily we didn't have anything,currently running for ourselves but this,was actually potentially could have been,a big problem because we weren't going,in there checking every day so we may,have missed the fact that this hacker,had kind of come in here and was doing a,bunch of shenanigans inside of our,account but anyway so we jump in we're,looking at a different ad accounts and,I'm finding that not only are they,setting up some ads in our account in,some weird language or I don't,understand they're literally putting a,budget on that ad of 25,000 dollars and,then they're putting one on there for,$8,000 oh god please no no no,and so I'm trying to change this but,they have removed my admin controls from,inside of the account so I'm still,technically an admin it's it seems but I,couldn't actually do anything inside of,this so I ended up jumping on a zoom,call with Jabril who's one of my,business partners and he's an admin in,our ad accounts and Aaron my head media,buyer and we're all jumping on Zoom and,we were looking at the the people that,were admins on our account and it was,still saying we were admins yet there,were some weird ones like AAA and hate,jamm and and this is like the weirdest,thing to me I've never experienced being,hacked actually having someone coming,into my account and doing all this weird,stuff so we look at that then we go in,and look at these ads that they were,setting up in this weird language and,and trying to spend a ton of our money,so we go in and we turn those ads off,then we'd go somewhere else and business,manager try and do something else,would come back and they're active again,I'd be Dale so what was kind of,hilarious was literally while we are on,zoom' trying to sort this out,they are also logged into our business,manager and they are continuing to,create new ads and turn back on the ones,that we're turning off it was this,really weird scenario we couldn't lock,them out just changing the password on,the business manager didn't do the trick,so we had to just kind of you know try,and figure this out and just keep,turning the ads back off so eventually,we jump on the live chat with the,Facebook team I can't do it from here in,the UK because it was out of hours for,our live chat so I'm literally on zoom,with my partner Jibril he's on live chat,talking to the Facebook team tell them,what's going on I'm type I'm watching,their conversation and I'm typing a,message for abroad to send back to the,person and we're going on anyway this,lady is saying that she's gonna take,care of it everything's fine and all the,while we're literally on this live chat,with with the lady and and they're,continuing to create ads in our account,they're even going into existing,campaigns that we had set up and within,that campaign setting up a really dodgy,ad set than trying to run those for a,ton of money and hoping that we wouldn't,notice it because it was a name of a,campaign that we previously had so I'm,thinking about removing our payment,details and remove,our credit card from the from the,account or putting or at least putting a,block on our Amex that we have tied to,it but then I realized well actually,there's so many other things that's tied,to that Amex that's going to cause a,boatload of other problems if if we,block the card and now we've got other,softwares and things that set up to that,and our Google ads are set up to that,too so we didn't want to do that,essentially we settled on just trusting,the lady on the Facebook team who,assured us via message that we would be,refunded for any payments that were,displayed as fortunate so we feel quite,confident that that's going to happen so,so far no money's actually been taken,from our account,it seems that Facebook up on it and it's,lovely lady Sarah on the Facebook team,is taking care of it so I'm gonna get an,update today of how this is looking and,how its kind of playing out at the,minute it's actually a bit of a mess,this is actually one of our an accounts,now that I just got up for you and you,can see it says sorry sink unexpected,happen because she's actually removed,this ad account from inside of our,business manager along with a bunch of,others and it's all a little bit of a he,would if people do you miss so there's,two reasons why I'm not know why I'm not,worried about this and why I'm not,freaking out the first is I feel very,confident whether this is ignorant or,naive but I felt very confident,Facebook's gonna take care of this so it,all seems good but the second reason and,this is like the biggest lesson and I've,been preaching this for so long now and,this is literally a moment when this has,come to pass for us and I hope that you,learn something from it I've been,preaching never ever ever rely on one,traffic source to run your business like,imagine like think about the company,that I've got right now like this costs,a pretty penny to run this organization,right with the the team that I've got,and payroll with the offices the,software like everything we've got going,on it's very expensive and if I was,running my business only relying on,Facebook then I would be freaking out,right now because if this account,doesn't come back or if something,dramatic happens if we just can't,continue running Facebook ads or even,just let's say it takes three or four,days to get this whole mess sorted out,hopefully it doesn't but let's just say,that it did that's three or four days,where there's no revenue coming into the,company or there's at least limited,revenue because I was relying on,Facebook whereas the reason why I'm not,panicking is because at the same time,we're running YouTube ads this is one of,our Google,accounts we're running YouTube ads and,in fact we actually spend right now the,lion's share of our ad budget over here,and we've got a few other platforms that,we're playing around with with our ads,and so if you've got two things running,at the same time if you've got YouTube,ads running at the same time as Facebook,ads then if something happens to,Facebook YouTube got to tide you over,until you can get this reinstated and,sorted out same thing the other way,around right if think happens to YouTube,or Facebook it's going to keep taking,care of you until you can get this set,back up so you're setting your business,up for long-term growth and also for,that that consistency and that,reliability right so you know same thing,goes for the other way don't just have,YouTube ads going and that's it as soon,as you've got a handle on that and you,start getting some momentum then set up,Facebook ads and have them going,simultaneously or outsource to an agency,to have that like do something that,means that you've got traffic coming in,to your business from a bunch of,different avenues because I mean this is,just a prime example right now of like,something like this hasn't happened to,us before but oddly enough I'm not,really that concerned because Facebook,I've got it sorted they're gonna get it,handled and while smart our Facebook ads,are down our YouTube ads are going to,continue and our company runs as normal,so I hope you learn something from this,it's a really big deal you need to get,this stuff set up and you to get it set,up right now you need to have multiple,traffic sources in your business so,anyway just thought it'd be interesting,for you to see the behind the scenes not,everything goes smoothly over here but,we've always got things set up to cover,our backs and have insurance policies
