How To Fix Facebook Pixel Events Not Showing After Apple's iOS14 Update

what's going on pixel hackers christian,love research from pixelfeet here,in this video i'm going to show you how,to fix facebook pixel events not showing,after ios 14 update,but before we get started make sure to,smash that like button,subscribe to the channel and let's dive,right in,all right ever since i released a video,explaining how to set up your pixel,events for apple's ios 14,update with facebook everybody has been,complaining not everybody but a lot of,people have been complaining that,they're not seeing their events being,set off,under the window right here so in this,video i'm going to walk you through,on how to troubleshoot the issue i'm,going to walk you through,first on what to look for how to do it,on shopify then i'm going to show you,how to do it on click funnels which is,the same way you would do it on any,other website,so depending on the platform that you're,in make sure you watch all the way till,the end where i'm going to go step by,step,on how to do it all right so the first,thing we're going to do is we're going,to go to our pixel so you go to your,pixel whatever your pixel is,you're going to click an aggregated,event measurement configure,web events i'm going to go there it's,going to pull up your domain,and you're going to click edit events,okay then you get this window,it may take up to 48 hours to see,results and ads and asset measurements,so this is telling you there's going to,be a delay in data coming back to your,to your ad sets when you're running ads,remember that so you're going to click,on edit,it's going to take you to this window,and you're going to see,all of your events right here,now what some of you are telling me in,the comments is that some of you are,experiencing that you can't see your ad,to card or you can't see your view,content or you can't see your ad payment,info the reason why you cannot see this,is because if you're not using shopify,or using something else,you're not setting it up correctly and,also what a lot of people don't know,is in the shopify settings there's a,couple things that you have to do i'm,about to show you,in order to make sure it's working,properly and i'm going to walk you,through it,the other thing is remember if you turn,value optimization,on this is going to take four slots of,your pixel,and the only way you should turn this on,the only time you should turn this on,is if you have a hundred or more,purchases a week,if you don't have a hundred or more,purchases a week you keep,this off so let's go to shopify right,here let me get this out of the way,let's go to shopify and you're gonna go,to your facebook app right here make,sure you,you download not facebook shop but the,new facebook app,and it's gonna take you right here and,you need to set up your pixel right here,so click start setup,it's going to connect the account,all right and then follow the,instructions so facebook account,and show your name the store i mean the,page the ad account,page data sharing go down and make sure,you choose,maximum right and here,make sure you connect the right pixel,this one's already connected so i'm not,going to do it again,okay and then just click finish setup,all right,it's gonna take you back to the screen,right here okay,and the next thing you're going to do is,you got to go to your settings to your,online store right here,preferences,and make sure you remove the pixel from,here,a lot of you are leaving the pixel here,you need to take it off,because that causes issues and sometimes,it's giving you double fires double,event fires,so make sure you take that off so now,i'm going to walk you through click,funnels on how to do it manually,which is the same way you would do it on,a wordpress site and then i'm going to,walk you through,and how to test each event to make sure,they're firing,okay so we go to click funnels we're,going to edit page,it's going to bring up my funnel right,here,i'm going to go to settings i'm going to,go to tracking code,and it's going to bring up my code so,you as you guys can see here this is,what the code looks like,when it's just the raw code so first of,all how do we get this code,so you go back to your events manager,you're gonna go back here you can go to,add events,from a new website install code,manually and it's going to give you the,base code,right here so you will just copy this,code,and that's going to be this code right,here and i'm going to show you how to,edit it depending on the events that you,want,so as you guys can see here i have page,view,and then i have coaching so this is a,custom code that i did,right so the base code is going to go on,your header,and then you got to add the events that,you want to it if you're doing manually,so for example,if i wanted uh add to cart i would be,add to cart right,if i want back to coaching then i'll do,back to coaching and that's it this is,how you add your events,manually once you edit the event,make sure you download your pixel helper,tools so just,google pixel helper facebook tool,whatever and then,click on the first one it's going to,take you to uh,download the pixel helper tool where you,can see it i have it,right here okay so you will go to your,website or you will go to your funnel,and then you put your website,under test mode if you're using shopify,and the way you do that is you go to uh,payments,you go to uh manage you're gonna scroll,down,and you're gonna enable test mode and,then just go through your site buy,something through your site and set off,the pixel events it's,not a big deal at all okay that's how,you're doing shopify,same thing on a click funnels you can go,to test mode so you go back to exit,you go to settings,and you change this to uh i mean right,here test mode turn it on and go through,the whole funnel and set off every,single event,all right but let's go back to testing,the pixel and make sure it works it's,gonna come up,and then we go in here and let's say you,already edited your code and you're,going to go to preview,right i don't mind showing you guys this,is my coaching funnel so i don't mind,showing it off that's why i'm doing it,on click funnels,you're going to see your pixel helper,right here light up three events,page view coaching and micro data,now this one's going to be whatever you,name it so if it's view content it's,going to be view content if it's,coaching is going to be coaching,if it's add to cart it's going to be add,to cart but this tells us that we fired,off the event okay so,now we know it's working so what happens,now,now we go back to our events right we're,gonna close this,configure web events and then we're,gonna go in here,and keep in mind that this can take,a few hours to populate usually i've,seen i've seen it happen anywhere from,five minutes to half an hour to 15,minutes sometimes i've seen,hours sometimes i've seen over 24 hours,so be very patient with this now,if it still doesn't work after that,then i'm going to show you how you can,contact facebook,at support and you need to tell them to,manually check it,for you the way we do that is right here,in the little,corner right here you're gonna see help,right you're gonna click help,and this window is gonna come up and,then if you go to help center down here,at the bottom,click on that it's gonna bring up this,other window,and then it's going to give you access,to chat if you have chat available it's,going to appear right,here this account doesn't have it i only,have it on my main account,if for some reason your chat doesn't,appear,here you're gonna have to send them an,email,and i just realized that sunday while,i'm recording this so it's not showing,it it's only eastern time uh monday to,friday,uh 10 a.m to like 9 p.m or something,like that,because they're running pacific so,pacific 9 to 6 type of deal,so if you don't see the chat support,you're going to see the email option,right here and then you can click,and it will let you send them an email,don't bother with support here because,it's just going to take you around in,circles and circles and circles they,don't make it easy so if your only,option
